Our story
Our strategic approach to accounting and advisory has been giving our clients the financial confidence and clarity to realise their goals and ambitions for over 25 years.
Our story began in 1999, when our founder, Michael Jensen, began offering tax and accounting services to private clients. What started as a side hustle quickly became a full time proposition, and soon after, Michael Jensen and Associates (MJAA) was established.
Openly sharing his wisdom while providing clients with strategic advice and counsel that was instrumental in their growth, MJAA continued to grow at a steady pace over the next two decades.
In July 2025, with a committed team of experienced, high calibre accounting and advisory specialists advising, supporting and managing client’s affairs, MJAA became Dare Accounting.
Still guided by the same values, ethos and commitment to our clients that MJAA was built upon, our new name recognises that our strength and value lies in the collective experience and expertise of our team, who share Michael’s passion and commitment.
